Silverstone BSB
I had never been to Silverstone so it was always going to be an up hill battle but I was confident, unfortunately at the end of FP2 I had a fast crash due to having no where to go with a rider slowing up loosing the front going round the outside of him. I was going in the right direction but that knocked me a little.
I knew the rest of the weekend was going to be difficult after a big crash, trying to get back up to speed. I managed to qualify for the races and had two finishes in the races only getting down to my FP2 time in race two, was a little disappointed as think I could have gone with the group in front if it wasn’t for the crash but it’s all learning, first year on a 1000 and second BSB against very fast riders when .5 of a second could jump you a lot of a positions.
We have found something with the bike before race 2 that I’ve been struggling with all year so fingers crossed now we can can hopefully keep moving forward at Oulton Park and hopefully go with that group.
Big thanks to our little team (Dad, Dave, mum and Roisin) without them this weekend would have been cut short with the damage.
